"Reading Goods Books Ruins You for Enjoying Bad Books"

Well said Isola. Well said. She's a character from Mary Ann Shaffer's  The Guernsey Literary and Potato Pie Society. One of my all time favorite books. A must read if you haven't yet.

I've mentioned on facebook plenty of times how much we've been enjoying have a library two minutes away from our house. We have been taking advantage of the 100 book limit per card. We are at 96 books out right now.  The littles have a library of their own created in their playroom. They have each book in order on the shelf by author. It was all on the oldest of the littles' initiative. He did it one day and was so proud of himself. He makes sure he organizes his library daily. 

Most of the time we blindly pick out books based on the subject. The scale of blind picking leads to not very interesting book to fantastic book. I decided to put down "on paper" a list of the books that have made our fantastic or close to fantastic list. And the list may be slightly curved towards the interest of little dudes, but we try our best to  not teach that subjects are gender specific.
