May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...
I may or may not have waited until the day before leaving for vacation to start packing for the whole family and cooking a weeks' worth of food for me to eat. That very day I may or may not have had an ovarian cyst burst. Painful people. Painful. It may or may not have left me in agony on the couch for hours wondering if and when I should go into the ER and cancel our vacation. No fever ever came and I was up until 3:30 am making sure everything got packed.
I may or may not have stopped shaving my legs the very last week of September when the pool closed down. I may or may not have forgotten to shave before our trip. Then I may or may not have forgotten my razor. Eek.
I may or may not have woken up to a little puking the very morning of our vacation. His little puking virus continued through the entire traveling day. I may or may not have been grateful for the bags on the airplane and failed my husband and kid by not having an entire backup outfit on hand after their clothes got spoiled.
I may or may not have a husband who parked us at the farthest reach of the airport parking lot to save $2.50 a day and had us trudge through the snow and ice with all our suitcases and carry ons. I was relieved I made the boys and I wear our snow boots until we were still wearing them later in Phoenix.
I may or may not have decided that I disdain Siri. Well, her directions. Twice she tried to drive us straight off Arizona backcountry cliffs. Thankfully, common sense kicked in and we lived another day.
I may or may not have decided that Sedona is the most beautiful place I've been to in the US of A. I may or may not be dreaming of our retiring to Sedona.
We may or may not have been told to visit the copper mine in Jerome, AZ. We may or may not have talked it up to the boys and driven out to the ghost town only to be told that all the mines had closed down to tourists.
I may or may not have felt that the Grand Canyon is cooler in the cinematography in movies than what you can see in real life. I may or may not be the only adult in this family that thinks that too. We both agreed that it was great to have done it and have no intentions of going back. Don't get me wrong, it was quite amazing. The movie camera's and the helicopter rides just make so vivid.

I heart Sedona.
Our view from our hotel balcony.
It was tough to leave.
I may or may not have pouted a bit.
