May or May Not Monday

May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...

I may or may not have a fever and feel no mercy for even thinking about skipping a Monday of may nots.

I may or may not have unintentionally worn the combination of orange and blue on a Friday during football season. Horror of horrors! I seemed to be announcing my allegiance for a college but nay, it was to the Army. Bold letters yelling Army on them could not sway those colors. What game? I responded. Seriously what game?

I may or may not be on the search for spokey dokes for over a year now. Australia is where you can find them. The only people who know how to have fun with kids bikes.

I may or may not have been overwhelmed with excitement that Home Alone is coming to the theaters for a special holiday showing!! So much that I went to book tickets. My excitement was squelched when I saw the price of tickets these days. Now understand that I haven't paid for a full price movie ticket in a decade. We normally go once or twice a year to Dollar Tuesdays at the cheap $3 theater. Or my parents have paid at the real movie theater (again about once a year).

I may or may not have been single parenting with a fever for a bit and completely forgot about soccer practices. He missed two. I sorta feel bad about it.

We went to the Art in the Park event - super not impressed by for how much praise it receives. The words "I'm not paying for scribbles and blah art" may or may not have come out of my mouth when directing my littles on what was expected of their cheap but not free art creations. Parent award goes to me!

Now having a month of school under our belt, our morning routine may or may not have gone from getting up an hour and ten minutes before needing to leave and having breakfast made etc to waking up fifteen minutes before and handing them breakfast in a baggy to eat on the car ride to school. The latter makes for much happier people.
