May or May Not Monday

May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...

I may or may not have stayed in my jammies all day. Sick kid and foul weather equal a day off from functioning!

I may or may not have decided to park at the school and read to my little for the 45 minutes my other little was in science lab. I neglected to disengage my keys and drained the battery. I thought it was turned all the way of, but apparently not. I called and demanded saving by my dashing knight who did save the day. Though my littlest little has not let me forget my folly.

I may or may not have after three years finally purchased flannel lined jeans to keep me more comfortable in the deep cold. Only to have them arrive ( I ordered online) wet inside the two plastic bags. I set them out to line dry and they work but I can't think this is normal. Anyone experience this before?

I may or may not have had the request of knitting my little an orange scarf with purple polka dots. I don't knit because of a wool allergy. Though I did try to make it happen. Anyone in the mood to fulfill the order?

I may or may not have found that Chuck Norris Texas Ranger plays on one of the channels our antenna picks up. So far I remember every episode we've watched with the Littles from watching it in the 90s. My husband and I determined they would not be well rounded without a solid knowledge of Chuck Norris.

I may or may not have been determined to get Christmas card pictures while we were at the Grand Teton National Park. Of course, I couldn't locate any of my SIM cards before we left AND we forgot our tripod. I demanded a special trip to Walmart in Idaho Falls to purchase both items. My husband happily obliged to the purchase and the picture taking game while at the park. I am thrilled to say I did get my shot and ordered my Christmas cards this afternoon.

I may or may not have been tickled by my littlest's comments on the trip. " This is the best Sunday of my life!!" When he realized he didn't have to go to church. "We sure are approaching a lot of things." While on our two hour tour of the Grand Teton park there were signs announcing each stop saying "approaching...."  "I sure hope the visitor center is almost closed so we don't have to pay the $30 fee!" Brandon and I were stoked when we did not have to pay the $30 entrance fee to the park. Be it because it was 5pm on a Sunday or because it was the off season, we don't know the reason for our good fortune. We informed him the visitor center was free all the time. That a kid! I like your thinking.

I may or may not have chuckled at the littles extreme contentment of watching Disney Jr and ordering in pizza for hotel entertainment. Easily pleased since they rarely get either of those treats. Tough life they live.

I may or may not have planned our trip two weeks too late. Everything worth doing like ranger led hikes and mountain tram rides shut down the end of September. We will have to go back next September! As you can read, we highly recommend Jackson Hole, WY.  The littles wanted to move there until I told them how much snow it gets.

I may or may not have been bitten by a flea (s) at a rest stop on the way home. I'd gone 33 years without one encounter with fleas and this year alone I've been attacked twice!!

I may or may not have put Frankincense, lavender, and lemon oil on my face and sat outside to read. Wasps were super attracted to my face and I'm lucky to have made it out without stings, I had so many buzzing my face. All I could think of was ruined Christmas card pictures if they got me.

I may or may not have consumed rather inhaled an entire can of peas without problem due to those terrible probiotics doing their job! I haven't been able to eat peas in four years. I love peas! It's a new world opening to me.
