May or May Not Monday

May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...

I may or may not have an empty lot across the street from our house that was measured our for building. It's a view of the mountains. The lot was purchased 12 years ago and the people got in a fight with the builders and walked. It's been wonderfully empty and owned by my favorite neighbors ever. All I can hope for is a one story house. The kids are ticked because they are going to be woken up every morning. My favorite neighbors and quickly turning into our most hated.

I may or may not have had to break it to our little that our family was on the wrong side of history. Confederates. "WHAT!?!? Not any of them?!" Sorry Charlie. Well one Taylor in Missouri switched sides half way through to Union. And two sides hadn't immigrated here yet. They still lived in Ireland and the Ukraine. "Oh, well that is really disappointing."

I may or may not have purchased two boxes of mechanical pencils for $.75 each and promptly put them away so the littles wouldn't steal them. Now even I can't find them. I've been looking for two weeks.

I may or may not have decided to take the littles to a hot air balloon launch while my husband was out of town. When my alarm went off at 6 so we could get there before 7, I decided it wasn't worth the loss of sleep- for me or the littles. There's always next year or the year after that ....

I may or may not have an adorable little with missing teeth and when he smiles there's a shape of a dog in the gaps. "Look I have a doggie in my teeth!!"
