May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...
I may or may not have had a week filled with dentist appts that ended in referrals for orthodontist work. My husband and I neither have experience with braces so give me all your advice and opinions on early intervention.
I may or may not have picked another 4.5lbs of raspberries this week and visited a fruit and veg stand that had $0.99 lb organic grapes. Our fridge is full of the abundance and blessing that summer brings us - fruit! Blueberries - we've consumed half our seven lbs, local tomatoes, Marion berries, and blackberries accompany the six lbs of grapes too. Plus all the usual. I have zero intention of freezing any of it. We are delighted to eat it all fresh.
I may or may not have to sand down my patio table because water got trapped under the tarp that was supposed to be protecting it and ruined the stain and seal. We bought a mousy sander that didn't break the bank and so far I've put in four hours and my darling husband two hours and we still aren't done getting it down to the clean boards so I can stain and seal it again.
I may or may not laugh at our summer sleeping arrangement: my darling husband no sheets, me wrapped in sheets and a duvet cover and still complaining about the AC being too low.
I may or may not have offered to cut my littles hair and then found that the clippers set was no where to be found. My darling husband and I both searched the entire house and nothing. So we went to Walmart and bought a new set. My littles hair is extra short - high and tight - because of communication problems. I couldn't let my little sport a mullet just to get the bangs out of his eyes per requested. So he now had the shortest cut he has ever had. We are all still adjusting.
I may or may not have had to stop in the middle of a mountain road to let a family of turkeys cross it. Then ensued the bad little kid jokes about why'd the turkey cross the road...
One of our neighborhood pools has been closed three possibly four, it's so many times I've lost count, times due to a biological incident. Poop in the pool four times. Uncool y'all, uncool.
My darling husband stayed home this entire week, meaning no work trips! This may or may not be the first week since the beginning of June that that has happened. We have him in town for a few more weeks and then it begins again.
My house may or may not have gotten cleaned - the downstairs at least - for hosting book club this week. My littles have actually respected the clean. Holy moly would that be awesome if they have turned a corner and want to live in a tidy house. A girl can dream.
