May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...
I may or may not have just realized I still have glass lodged in the ball of my foot. It hurts to walk on it and I just thought it had done a lot of damage. Today warming by the fire, I decided to examine it and sunshine reflected off my cut. Very much to my surprise, there's still an eensy bit lodged in the cut. It's not raised or infected just a teeny cut with teeny glass in the ball of my foot. I have rubbed skin of the top of my foot by trying to adjust my gait off the cut.
I may or may not have 150 books checked out at the library. We drove across town to the new library to shore up for story time. My darling husband and I got many a stare walking with the books piled up to our chins to the car and as I bent backwards to gain a hand to unlock the car.
I may or may not have gone to the gym for the first time in ages. My darling husband and boys were invited to play a new to us board game so I decided that in my alone time it must be utilized by the neighborhood gym. It's really not my favorite. I much prefer the outside for activity. But I'm not entirely at fault for not knowing what to do with alone time because I literally never have it. I don't have a lifestyle that allows it and I don't desire it. I don't like being alone.
I may or may not have dropped $25 plus tax and shipping on fancy flash cards to help my little identify the difference between th and wh words. The flash cards are Snap Words if you too will do anything to make things click for your little.
I may or may not have woken up to my house upstairs reading 62 degrees. My darling husband had already left the house but didn't think the heater should have a need to be turned on! He said his car registered 36 degrees on his drive in to work. Summer left abruptly and has no intention of returning. I'm not that sad about it either. Who am I!? We had the hottest summer ever and it was too much. October is beautiful here with fall foliage.
We really have been having a beautiful time lately with the lovely weather, spending as much time as possible outside enveloped by nature so there isn't much to report by way of frustration. I did spend something of two hours scrubbing all colors of paint of my hardwood floors because I have a creative soul that isn't particularly careful. My furniture project is still in the garage on hold. I checked out too many books for myself to read and had to return one with only one chapter read because of lack of time made to read. It pained me to return it but I had no choice, someone requested it so I will have to decide if I will make time for it.
