May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...
I may or may not have purchased twelve containers of spinach because they were marked down to $1.49 each. My darling husband was freaking out and claiming he would be Popeye at the end of the week. That’s what I’m going for Darling! So spinach everything is on the menu this week. I launched it with a spinach pizza that they said was the best pizza they’ve ever had. So at this point I’m riding this spinach train pretty darn high.
I may or may not have been concernedly told by my little that he was very sorry but somehow grass had got into his salmon chowder and he couldn’t possibly eat it because he is severely allergic to grass. He is. But, oh sweetheart, it’s dill.
I may or may not be dedicating my entire family to overhauling the historical farmhouse gardens in our community this week. I’ve gotten a green light from the previous gardener, a master gardener, and so we are off! We spent 15 hours there Friday - Sunday. During which my little had a crow off with a rooster that lead to an attack that ended in my little barely getting away from the rooster. Apparently he didn’t know roosters were aggressive. My other little did and warned him. I warned him. Both he claims he didn’t hear. Entirely likely because he lives in his head. It was a rather scary moment with huge tears.
I may or may not have a very distracted by his life encroaching job family member that further proved my point that he needs to slow down when his side view mirror met the garage and crushed it. I’m looking at this as another point to prove his stress level. So it’s all good that we will probably need to shell out a chunk of change. This is how he learns. Are any of you those kind of learners? Hard hits necessary.
I may or may not have had a gas invasion in my house because my little turned the stove flame to light instead of off. It ran for over ten minutes. I’m still unclear of the details of why my little even touched the flame and what my darling husband was cooking and why he didn’t think it was a big deal that he continued as normal without thought to a spark igniting our house. It took two hours to clear the smell once I came into the house and freaked out.
I may or may not be really proud of my littles for having happy hearts and zero complaints after spending nine hours toiling at the farmhouse yesterday. They are superior little men.
My little men and I were outside while summer visited us for three days. We hit 92 on Friday and now we are absolutely freezing in weather we were perfectly comfortable in just days ago. My darling husband didn’t adjust from working in his office during the heat and thinks we are crazy! I currently feel like a Californian.
The crime wave continues in our small community. Cigarette ashes are now being left inside cars they break into. Ew. Just ew.
