Pressure Points

Two nights ago I burned my cornea's while adjusting the lamp shades on the chandelier my husband installed in our office. Lesson learned, wait until daylight to adjust the shades and don't climb a ladder to be 6 inches away from 300 watts of light. The next day I had on a hood, hat and sunglasses and had the house shut up as much as possible and no lights. Even with that I spent a good amount of time under a blanket to keep the light out with the hood, hat and sunglasses still on. That night while sitting in the dark watching tv with sunglasses on I asked my hubby to rub my feet, particularly my second toe hurt. He put pressure on it and my pain dissipated. Pain meds hadn't been able to do much for the pain, but this pressure point took care of it for a few hours. Shocked at it's success, I asked him to look up pressure points on feet and it confirmed our accidental experiment. So I thought I would pass along this nugget of information. A diagram of pressure points on the feet.

Today I wore just sunglasses and avoided light. May tomorrow bring healing to my eyes.
