I may or may not have finally found a pair of pants to fit me! Rejoice & a big sigh of relief. I may or may not be thrilled that the pants are two sizes bigger than I normally wear. I really like Chico's concept for sizing: 0, 1, 2, 3 & 4. It definitely takes the sting out of shopping for clothing.
I may or may not have felt like I live in a third world country this week. We have had two blackouts. One for five hours and two days later it was out again for an hour and a half. Not a big deal when it's 100 degrees out. Our house was up to 87* during the five hour outage.
I may or may not have a working oven because of a power surge. The surge shorted out our oven control sensors. It is not able to maintain a proper temperature and just overheats. I may or may not have a blown bulb in my fridge because of the same surge. All our computers and tv made it through the surge. Apparently, we needed to unplug our appliances too.
There is a section in our tiny library for books that haven't been checked out in three years. At least I believe that's the time frame for making the tippy toppest shelf placed spine down. I may or may not feel that this is unfair treatment of books. As if they have feelings and are personified. I haven't lived here very long and maybe I would check them out if I could see them. I was informed by one new libraian that they are not for checking out. But oops or haha I already have liberated some of them! So on my tippy toes and my longest reach, I search through them with my movement "Save the Books!" to get them good ones back on the normal shelves for circulation. I may or may not have liberated four today.
We may or may not have bought our subi three years ago and specifically got a moon roof so that we could get more light in gloomy Oregon. That same moon roof remains closed for the majority of the year here in brilliantly sunny Idaho. Once a year it gets guaranteed use. That use may or may not be for littles to pop their little heads through the roof to watch fireworks!
I may or may not have read Jane Eyre in two days. It may have been because I was dreading it and thought I could just renew it until I was in the mood to read it, but it was requested and I couldn't renew it. So I had to get through 450 pages of verbose descriptions and a morose plot. In the end I was disappointed the book was over, but it was tedious to get that book done. Never a book I would have read on my own accord, book club was the instigator.
"But for my own part, if a book is well written, I always find it too short."
