May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...
I may or may not have broken out in an allergic rash from head to toe. I went to the dr. because I had no idea what it was or why it happened. I came home from the dr. with information that it is an allergic rash but the cause is unknown. It will remain unknown until it happens again and we are able to pinpoint the trigger. I may or may not be having a pity party because of the incessant itch that is keeping me from enjoying my last week of freedom.
I may or may not have been glad that my littlest little threw up in the middle of the night. Who knows what was the trouble, he was fine in the morning. Glad because there was the best lightning show I've ever seen. Lightning flashes every second (literally, I timed) for an hour. Glad because then I got to share my excitement and wonder of the storm with someone and not just sitting in the dark in the middle of the night by myself being amazed.
I may or may not have lost a brand new coat at my parents house a year and a half ago. Every trip since I have scoured the closets looking for it. In July, I searched one last time and gave up all hope. Two weeks later we made another unplanned trip back to my folks and there it was hanging in the garage on my Dad's car. I may or may not have cried a little over my relief and excitement of finding it. Apparently its home was in a car trunk tucked away in a bag.
I may or may not have been summoned for jury duty for the fourth time in my married life. How random can it really be if I'm at four and my husband is at zero. My husband who would like to participate and me who says, my peers would never commit a federal crime or have a need for a four day trial. I may or may not have said that my next available date for participating in the duty was in ten years when I'm not homeschooling and having little kids at home. Will I be excused? I sure hope so.
I may or may not have quite hairy legs because of my head to toe rash. I needed to shave on the day that I broke out in the rash and here we are four days (Sunday) later still going strong with no abatement. Hence, me wearing shorts because it's summer folks, and the hair still not mowed down.
