Advent Wreath

Last year I decided that I wanted to make a beautiful advent wreath. After spending a few hours looking at perfectly made wreaths, I decided I had to make the one made out of moss. I went to Hobby Lobby and got my materials, came home and couldn't whip up the magic of that perfect wreath. Last year we went without celebrating Advent because I was so upset about my wreath not being the glorious moss wreath I saw in a picture.

This year I decided that I was just going to put one together with what I had on hand and it was going to just have to do moss or no moss. I was in a much better head space this year and in ten minutes this is what I whipped up. Non traditional, yes. Magic? Maybe not, but I am quite happy with how it turned out. The littles think it's beautiful and so does the husband.

This is the extent of my Advent decorating and crafting. Our focus is on reading Scripture with the littles with a hope that they understand that gifts are not the most important part of Christmas.
