May or May Not Monday

May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...

We may or may not have ended up with a trampoline in our yard again. This time it didn't attack our house. It just went through the fence again and stayed upright in the grass.

I may or may not have a coyote trap on my patio. See that rope line tied up to the pergola? Yup, my littlest littles' coyote trap that has been set for months and sadly or happily has been ineffective.

I may or may not have passed my virus from last week to my husband. He lovingly passed it along to the littles. We are all still a bit under the weather.

I may or may not have loved that we missed half the week of school due to illness. And quickly been shocked back to reality on Thursday afternoon when a friend mentioned needing to collect 100 things for the celebration of 100 days of school -- due the very next day. Luckily, I have a little who could be completely happy with 100 dried beans for his contribution.

I may or may not have ended up in the hospital this week. It may have been on a school night and the littles accompanied us. I may not have been released until midnight. Our little night owls were thrilled with a 5pm and a 10pm pizza trip with their daddy to Whole Foods. I may have been grateful that we do half day school and that we could sleep in the next morning.

I may or may not have put the littles to bed in their clothes that night and myself just falling into bed and asleep. I may or may not have forgotten to bathe one little for the entire week due to exhaustion.

I may or may not have had to do a colonoscopy pineapple flavored prep kit and thought it was the absolute worst thing I have ever put in my body. Gagging. Tears. Keeping the 128 oz drink down was torturous.

I may or may not have two weeks worth of laundry done and stuck in folded piles all over the laundry room and our master bedroom.

I may or may not have barely eaten a thing in two weeks due to illness yet this week whipped up from scratch biscuits, cookies, blueberry muffins, taquitos, and hottokeki on top of all the regular meal requirements. If I'm not eating, everybody else is going to whether they like it or not.

This week's May or May Not Monday is brought to you by the word: survival.
