May or May Not Monday

May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...

I may or may not have completely forgotten about this series for almost two weeks in a row. Mostly because our days have just been very full of life.

I may or may not have really not processed when my darling husband would be out of town until the night before in the grocery store when he asked me to not load him up on food since he'd be out of town. Uh, I die a little every time you eat in restaurants so I spent an hour cooking him food to take. I want the perdiem in my pocket for way better things than sub par restaurant food.

I may or may not have found a fellow brat from my second high school! You may not realize how hard it is to find a friend that was a huge part of a year of your life half a life ago before social media existed. And the game becomes even tougher when you just know maiden names. Well luck was on my side and after searching on and off for eight years, we are connected again! There are so many brats that I just wonder where they are and how their life unfolded after being part of a moment of my life.

I may or may not have thought I may have overdone it a bit with the dollar name brand pants at the yard sale this summer by taking five pairs of pants. I am over thinking I was greedy because my little has proven in a month that those pants are not going to last long with the wear on the knees. Now I'm praying that I have enough to make it through this size.

I may or may not  have purchased sweet potato vines thinking it was just vining foliage. I put them in hanging planters all summer. Until we took them down to bring them in from the frost we had no idea sweet potatoes were growing in the pots. I certainly would have taken better care if I'd been aware of the food being produced.

Since July my household may or may not have been targeted by the Census to participate in a survey. A survey that said it is completely voluntary and no penalty will come by not participating. We have been mailed things five times. It doesn't feel very optional.

I may or may not have spent my weekend watching twice the musical She Loves Me on PBS. I LOVE it!!! And it's totally what You've Got Mail is based on - or copied from. Soooo good, I've been singing the songs all day.

I may or may not have this thing about reading the book before watching the movie. We listened to Charlotte's Web last week and we watched the lasted movie version, not the Disney cartoon. It was such an endearing book and the movie did it justice. I've been waiting for my littles to ask for a pig.

We've been volunteering all week at our neighborhood historical farm to do fall clean up on the garden beds. The weather this time of year is just absurd. We've been pelted with an ice storm and sweating in t-shirts and shorts and cool as a cucumber in long sleeves and pants. I may or may not have a much better understanding of the weather after experiencing six Falls here with all different weather. Last year we were just barely done with the swimming pool in mid October. This year we were done on September 10th. This year may just be a snowsuit under the Halloween costume kind of year.

I may or may not have been proud of tackling the mountain of folded clothes that have been gracing my bedroom floor. It took me 40 minutes to put away my littles clothes from the last three weeks. Now it's just a mole hill of my clothes. Maybe I'll get those put away too this week but really let's not hold our breath.

I may or may not have convinced my darling husband we needed to buy the clearance organic bananas that were already browning and bruised. I put together banana pumpkin spice cream cheese bread and it was a smashing hit! My darling husband asks my if I just make it up as I go watching me not measure a thing. Yup, that's the fun of it. Will this experiment turn out?
