May or May Not Monday

May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have... I

I may or may not have wolves in our valley. They follow the elk and they are back in our tiny valley feeding on a cow carcass. The community is freaking out about loose kitties and doggies being consumed. I'm of the mindset of making giant signs at the controversial new construction that's wiping out the organic farms and wildlife refuge that kitties, doggies, and small children have been hunted by these wolves so the too rich Californians won't buy the too expensive houses that Idahoans cannot afford. Please don't read that I dislike Californians, Idaho is a very poor state and they are pricing locals out of homes plus we are losing vital farmland to greedy builders and the county and city officials are complicit in the destruction in the midst of a huge public outcry and dissent and lawsuits.

I may or may not have a water bill that tells me we've used more water since fall/winter came and haven't watered our lawn than in the beginning of the summer when we watered our lawn every single day.

I may or may not have been shocked that dryers do not come with a power cord included in the hundreds of dollars sticker price. It's an extra $22 dollars for a plug. I may or may not have turned the car around no questions asked and trekked back to the store when my engineer little told my darling not engineer inclined husband that he bought the wrong pronged power cord. We did need a four and not three prong cord.

I may or may not have helped dispose of a dead bunny rabbit that died in the library parking lot. It was as if someone hit it and didn't bother to stop. Who are these monsters?

I may or may not be getting salamanders this spring to combat the ridiculous amount of spiders in our yard. I had no idea they were native to our valley and can survive our harsh winters until this week. So far that's salamanders, baby praying mantis, and a red worm farm. I'm still toying with building a kestrel box.

I may or may not have purchased fleece sweats and sweatshirt from Fred Meyer and literally been wearing them for a week straight. Only changing out of them for a few hours of the day if we are leaving the house and I need to be respectable. The brand is Everyday Living Basics and size up. They are so soft and reasonably priced especially with the 20% off coupon they are running.

I may or may not have banned my littles from their playroom toys for a week to reset their attitude and behavior habits towards cleaning up. Today was their first day back with privileges and I wish they were still taken away. My house was so free of mess and clutter that I could actually breathe.

I may or may not have gotten paint to touch up the littles' bedroom and think I should have gotten eggshell instead of flat. It will fade and blend in eventually, right?
