May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...
I may or may not have checked out the remaining five books to a series because all of the copies were being vied for in our county libraries. I decided that I didn't want to take the risk of not being able to get the next book in line at the very moment I finished the current book in the series. So this committed me to reading 1700 pages of teeny tiny print in a month because none of them were renewable. I may or may not have decided to read another 500 page history book while waiting for all the books in the series to be delivered to my local library. This extra book took me a bit longer to read than I anticipated and then I only had three weeks to get the 1700 pages of the series done. I did it. I may or may not have decided to do it again this month with another 5 book series. Geez o petes, I will never learn to curb my greed for good books. Check out the Zion Covenant Series and the Zion Chronicles by Bodie & Brock Thoene if you are interested in learning about Zionism. I'm a sucker for great historical fiction.
I may or may not have taken my kid to school late two out the five days last week. Mostly because I decided we needed to wake up more naturally than the alarm. It's a rude awakening getting back to school after Christmas break. One of these times, may have lead my kiddo to forget to turn in his homework. Yikes, our recent track record with homework has not looked great.
I may or may not have also kept my child home for two out of the five days last week due to snow. The district didn't call for a snow day, but the Weber household declared it to be a snow day, twice!
I may or may not have spilled a good amount of milk on my stove top that got cooked on to the top. I might have left it overnight and through the next day. Boiling water may have spilled over while adding potatoes, cooking the spilled milk even more and leaving an extremely avoidable mess; that will require a huge amount of elbow grease. I may have causation to cry over spilled milk, if I can't get it clean. Yup, that's right. I left it again. Avoid it and it doesn't exist, right?
I may or may not still have 14 paint samples on my hallway wall. Maybe the break in the freezing cold temps will motivate me to paint.
That pile of toys ousted from the playroom to the hallway, may or may not still be there. At least I got rid of the trash!
