May or May Not Monday

BM Hollingsworth Green & a white ceiling.
 No more brown everywhere!
The laundry room was the last room in the
house that needed to be painted. Every
room and ceiling has been repainted.

May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...

I may or may not conveniently get very sick every time my husband has to go out of town for work. Truly, I just came down with a fever three minutes ago. Yesterday my eyes had an allergic reaction to my new mascara and are burned and swollen almost shut. And it's not like I work myself into being sick knowing he is leaving because I didn't even realize he was leaving for this trip until 24 hours before his flight.

I may or may not be writing this now just in case the sickness puts me down for the count and I have had a very good track record for my Mondays since starting in November. I wouldn't want to mess up my record.

It may or may not have just occurred to me that I didn't have my husband pick up food to cover us for his time away. The grocery store is only a few blocks from his work and we live in the sticks, so I send him my list to save my time and gas money. It looks like I will be venturing out into the big city while sick to get myself some food being that I can eat about six things right now. Clearly, I was not prepared for this work trip.

I may or may not have joined a book club and feel that for the first time in a long time, I have more things to do in life and can't finish a book in three days or less. My busyness may be accounted for the pool opening up and the weather finally permitting swimming for hours during the day. This may or may not be a tough problem to have. Probably not :o)

This pool problem may or may not lead to things like leaving the boys tennis shoes in the garage utility sink rinsed but not scrubbed & soaped, covered in cow poop from their farm field trip four days ago. Last night Brandon took a toothbrush and scrubbed and soaped them for 20 minutes. He put them out on the patio to dry and they were met with a few rain showers this morning. It may be a while yet til those shoes are back in commission.

I may or may not have needed to google neutrophils to explain more of their function to  my six year old. At first I googled the definition and was met with science speak that I would have had to google multiple words to understand the definition. I finally smarted up and googled "how does a neutrophil work" for us to figure out what happens to the neutrophil after it consumes and kills the bacteria. Definitely normal things that six year olds worry about and you can see why kindergarten has given us some problems.

This is our last week of our free trial of Netflix. I may or may not feel that I spend more time searching through titles looking for something to watch than actually watching shows. And I may or may not have more success finding shows for my littles to watch than for myself. Feel free to throw in  your recommendations of can't miss shows/movies!

I may or may not rewatched a documentary about the Bermuda Triangle this week. I caught it in the wee hours of the morning years ago on PBS. I may or may not had an epiphany about why I am so jumpy about storms. My family hails for just off the Bermuda Triangle and the weather is notoriously scary. People may or may not have thought I was nuts when I yelled to Brandon about lightning striking while he was reffing our littles' game. I just remind myself that I know three people who have been struck by lightning and it's no thing to mess around with -- even if it seems far away. This one wasn't.

I may or may not have been able to give back all these books to the library without fuss from the littles. It may or may  not be because I told them while they were watching Mickey Mouse and they were not paying too close attention.
This may or may not be only a fraction of what we have checked out...
