May or May Not Monday

May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...

I may or may not have just heard "(little) unlock this door right now!!" and just sat downstairs giggling. At the mention of bedtime, the littles declare war on us. Every single night.

I may or may not have decided the adults in this house needed to juice a detox drink. Half a glass of ginger, tumeric, lemon and water may have burned my mouth on the way down and have  me trying intensely not to puke. My husband downed a full glass and may be completely fine.

I may or may not have left the Christmas tree up until MLK Day. The boys loved it. I was embarrassed. For clarification, the term boys refers to all three of them meaning not just the littles.

I may or may not have a really great curl day and gone out in society to peruse B&N to add to my library request list. I may have been told that my hair looked adorable. And of course asked if it was natural -- like I would choose this kind of wild. I may or may not have thought, I'm definitely past the stage in life where I want to be referred to as adorable. Pictures of Annie and lollipops and puppies appeared in my mind under the category, adorable. Certainly not the category I want to be filed under.
Yes, it was meant as a compliment and I was gracious in accepting, don't worry.

I may or may not have also heard "Whoa! You are completely unrecognizable! But in a good way." the day after my haircut this week because the stylist straightened my hair.

I may or may not have thought this week went by so quick and was very happy about the weekend arriving. Only the weekend went by just as quick and that didn't make me so happy.

I may or may not think it is interesting how the body adjusts to temperature. Walking this week, it was 37* with the sun ( finally sunshine!) and I needed to be in a short sleeve t-shirt and work out pants. Now the next day was cloudy and 34* and couldn't get warm enough bundled up. Sunshine is powerful.

I may or may not have made ham, hash browns, eggs and crescent rolls for my boys for breakfast. My husband made me a smoothie since I can't eat much of anything these days. All I heard from the littles were complaints. I want a smoothie. No, I'm not sharing my breakfast, you have a feast to eat. I wish this was turkey. I wish mine were egg whites only.  These are the times I truly cherish my kids.
