May or May Not Monday

nday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up.

I may or may not have only one event to report this week. My son broke his back bottom molar on Friday night at 8pm. Right, it's always after hours. The dentist met us Saturday at 9pm and said to give him Tylenol for pain management. Of course we had none in the house. A neighbor saved us from having to drive into town!! Thank you Katie! 🙌🏻 We managed to get them to sleep right before midnight and I set two alarms and my husband one. None of the alarms went off - stinking weekdays only setting gets us every time! I woke up at 8:34 am. We had to be in town at 9. So of course I shot out of bed to get the boys up and dressed and you know myself while my husband gets himself ready. We made it out of the house in five minutes and managed to get to the dentist at 9. That being said, I showed up to the dentist without my teeth brushed 🙈 My husband combed his hair and brushed his teeth. I'm just going to leave that there to let it sink in. Once our little sat in the chair it was discovered that he had swallowed the broken chunk during the night. Nothing needs to be done to the tooth, just watch for the slim possibility of infection. Does a broken molar emergency dentist visit sound familiar? Yeah it should, it's the same tooth we thought he broke a few months ago. He probably did, just below the gum line! Three more months until the molar is all the way grown in and we can stop having to worry about it.
