May or May Not Monday

May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...

I may or may not be astonished that I find myself writing this again. As if the last seven days have flown by rather faster than normal. It must be that we've enjoyed beautiful weather. Some of the days were just barely warm enough to swim at the pool, and swim we did. Evenings on the back porch playing Ticket to Ride as a family, and fresh, yummy fruits and vegetables that have been delighting our taste buds these last seven days. I've decided to not fight the Solistice and embrace it. Our littles are staying up until 10pm when the sun finally rests and sleeping until 9am. We are going to be breezy and adjust our lives to the sun. Long summer nights and early to sleep in the winter when the days are short. The concussion has not shown its scary symptoms which has decreased my stress tremendously. Which if we are being honest is likely to cause of my week being so much more pleasant.

I may or may not have decided in college that I would wait to read Harry Potter until I had kids. My lovely parents bought us the illustrated verison for Christmas and just this week our life was in just the proper place to get started. Twenty years after the first book made its debut, we are finally diving into the world of Potter.

I may or may not have purchased a coffee table for $10 last week; the paint to make it my own has so far cost $30 and I've run out before the paint has covered the table. Doesn't it always go that way?

The week also could have passed so quickly because we've been lost in many stories. Audible may or may not be the saving of my voice. Just this week we've listened to Sophie Quire and the Last Storyguard (amazing story), The Moffats (cute), The Magician's Elephant (somber) and starting The Princess and the Goblin. On top of reading Harry Potter can you imagine me trying to read through all that!? So yes, Audible is my hero. We love a good story.
