May or May-Not Monday: Where you can divulge the secrets of life's mishaps without feeling like a failure. So go on... own up. I may have...
I may or may not have looked at the “stats” for my last entry of Mondays and a whooping five views occurred. Way to boost my confidence guys.
I may or may not have decided to quick garlic and onions after landing in the er with anaphylactic shock a little over a week ago. My darling husband asked if it was because I ate it daily in the form of seasoning. Yo do too darling. I don’t see you trying to die over it. Garlic and onions and I are not on good terms right now. The relationship is just too toxic. Oh but I do miss it!
I may or may not be grateful that we had an inch of rain in one day - record setting stuff here in the sagebrush steppe - only so I have one less major thing on my to do list as I recover. No more watering the farmhouse or my garden. I’m looking forward to the coming season of rest. I’m weary.
I may or may not still be wearing glasses three months later from that horrid burdock scratching my eye.
I may or may not have found it annoying that the health insurance we’ve been paying for does not have us in the system. It took ten months for us to need it and realize it wasn’t there.
I may or may not be trying to decorate my house with nature and possibly slowly killing my darling husband with his seasonal allergies. Daylilly sticks ✅ cat tails ✅ beeswaxed leaves ✅ harvested my lavender garden ✅ fresh cut flowers ✅ Isn’t just so pretty?! Just take another Allerphase pill and you’ll make it through.
I may or may not have taken advantage of my darling husband accompanying us to the orthodontist to use him as a mule to carry 46 picture books from a library across town. You better believe I can get all those and check out in the ten minutes we have to be there.
I may or may not have to get those plus another 55 picture books done in two weeks because they are “new” books with a shorter lease. May my voice carry me through it!
I may or may not be reading two books about endurance ultra distance endeavors. Interesting choices that maybe I’m drawn to trying to see parts of their stories about overcoming and conquering enormous physical challenges. Normally I would pass those right by with the they’re crazy mentality.
I may or may not have had both of my string beans outgrow all their pants in the same weekend! What is happening? How can that even be possible? Thankfully I’m a crazy person who will buy sizes 12 and up for a good deal when your kid is in a size 6. So we only had to go searching for one pair one jeans to fill the gap. But seriously both of them, at the same time! Guess it’s their job to do that.
We are doing a family theme of Harry Potter for Halloween because of my darling husband’s hair. He’s a perfect Snape. So since we’ve only read the first three books and firmly sticking with that limit, my choice is Hermione or McGonagol. What say you? Am I too old for Hermione? I think I am but my littles say I can pull off her hair. I may or may not rather just plop of witch hat on and call it good but that’s knowing I’m disappointing littles. Weigh in.
Go for Hermione!!
